Heya!
This is a late entry. >___> sorry!
This actually took place on June 23, so it’s only a few days late. Sorry again.
I was going out to Borders to pick up a couple of books. It was a really nice day, one of the few that we’ve been having recently. It was beautiful, sunny and clear when I went out with just a little bit of cooling drizzle. When I got to Borders, most of the rain had subsided and I was just looking around and enjoying the weather as I tried to find a parking space. As I was looking around I noticed that the parking lot was surprisingly full of people and almost all of the people were either fiddling in their purses/bags or playing with their cell phone’s camera feature. So I look where all the people are looking and low and behold! A rainbow!

It was just so wonderful! So lovely! I too started fiddling in my bag and I took a picture of it. So there it is.
Not to be too spiritual or religious or anything that might be offensive to anyone, it got me to thinking about the whole Noah and the promise not to flood the earth again. I mean after all the rain that we’ve been getting and the floods, one could almost start to worry. But then you see a rainbow and you remember. And it made me at least feel a little bit better.
oh and the actual quote:
Genesis 9:12-13. And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making
between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all
generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will he the sign
of the covenant between me and the earth.
