RAWR!
i am alive again. :D
i went to see the exhibit i last posted about and i went with my mum and my aunt. it was alright, i guess. we ended up being late for the exhibit because my aunt hadn't gone out to see DC (even though she lives there) and mum insisted that we give her a tour of the mall. i tried to tell both of them that the exhibit would be packed but neither of them listened to me, as usual. i admit it was nice to walk around DC and revisit some stuff that i hadn't seen in a while, but it couldn't have been nicer than going to the exhibit early when it was empty.
So we got to the exhibit at like noon. And the place was packed. i barely got to see anything. i was so disappointed. mum was too. she admitted that i was right. but that didn't make the people go away, now did it? >___< raaaaah
but the plus was that she felt so guilty that we rode the metro to china town (as oppposed to walking like 20 blocks) and she paid for lunch.
oh, and we walked up to the Library of Congress. that library has got to be the most beautiful (and most occult) building in all of dc.
oh! i got asked to take pictures for people. you know how tourists always want a group shot and they need a person outside of the group to take the pic of them in front of some priceless national treasure, so they try and find the native least likely to run off with their camera? Well, i got approached twice for that by a indian family and an asain family. and some other tourists asked me for directions. i was surprised that it happened twice in one day.
